Stupid Ideas can lead to Good ones

… Or so I’m told.

One time I came up with a really dumb idea (don’t remember, nor do I want to remember) and we laughed at it. Although I laughed more out of embarrassment than he did, and I told him so. I mean, it was so dumb that if I really put thought into it, I would remember and lose a night’s sleep over it.

My husband used to do r&r for an electronics company that at one time produced security systems for big box stores and other commercial enterprises. He said usually the ideas they come up with would have them in stitches of how dumb they were, but then one really stupid idea would suddenly trigger a good one based somewhat off of the dumb one.

Well, I’m full of stupid ideas and thought, what if someone took my stupid idea and ran with it? Or maybe someone down in the dumps will see my stupid ideas and think to themselves, they’re not so bad after all?

So now, I have a category called “Stupid ideas” where I will put posts of the crazy things I think up. If I actually had the money, I would probably try some of them myself. They’re not life-endangering-stupid, or at least I don’t think so, but they are costly.
